A class of special subordinators with nested ranges
We construct, on a single probability space, a class of special subordinators S, indexed by all measurable functions α : [0, 1] → [0, 1]. Constant functions correspond to stable subordinators. If α ≤ β, then the range of S is contained in the range of S. Other examples of special subordinators are given in the lattice case.
متن کاملSome explicit Krein representations of certain subordinators , including the Gamma process
We give a representation of the Gamma subordinator as a Krein functional of Brownian motion, using the known representations for stable subordinators and Esscher transforms. In particular, we have obtained Krein representations of the subordinators which govern the two parameter Poisson-Dirichlet family of distributions [23].
متن کاملPotential Theory of Special Subordinators and Subordinate Killed Stable Processes
In this paper we introduce a large class of subordinators called special subordinators and study their potential theory. Then we study the potential theory of processes obtained by subordinating a killed symmetric stable process in a bounded open set D with special subordinators. We establish a one-to-one correspondence between the nonnegative harmonic functions of the killed symmetric stable p...
متن کاملDiffusion limits at small times for Λ - coalescents with a Kingman component *
We consider standard Λ-coalescents (or coalescents with multiple collisions) with a non-trivial “Kingman part”. Equivalently, the driving measure Λ has an atom at 0; Λ({0}) = c > 0. It is known that all such coalescents come down from infinity. Moreover, the number of blocks Nt is asymptotic to v(t) = 2/(ct) as t → 0. In the present paper we investigate the second-order asymptotics of Nt in the...
متن کاملTheoretical study on the mechanism of stable phosphorus ylides derived from 5-aminoindazole in the presence of different dialkyl acetyelenedicarboxylates
In the recent work, the reaction mechanism between triphenylphosphine 1, dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates 2 in the presence of NH-acid, such as 5-aminoindazole 3 were investigated theoretically. Quantum mechanical studies were performed for evaluation of potential energy surfaces of all structures participated in the reaction mechanism both in gas phase and in dichloromethane. The first step of ...
